According to an AP report, that "limited time" will be two weeks - partly to comply with tax laws, but more to generate a sense of scarcity. Only 25,000 purchasers will receive their laptops in time for Christmas. Alternatively, a straightforward donation of $US200 gets an XO into the hands of a child somewhere in the developing world.
