Australian electronic document delivery specialist, ConnXion Limited (ASX:CXN), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singaporean postal services provider, Singapore Post (SingPost). SingPost is Singapore’s national postal operator and processes 2.4 million items daily. Under the MOU, which was formalised this week, SingPost will operate the hosted service for electronic email, fax and postal delivery of business documents such as invoices, statements and reports to its customers in Singapore and across Asia, using ConnXion’s technology. The service aims to give SingPost’s customers a seamless option for both paper and electronic document delivery. David Colvin, ConnXion CEO, says, “Singapore businesses have both the delivery volumes and the technology means to achieve significant benefits from convenient and cost-effective digital delivery options. Accordingly, we have ambitious expansion plans for the region.” The hosted service will be housed in a SingPost data centre and will provide SingPost customers with access document delivery through email, fax, SMS, printing and posting within Singapore.
