A number of SaaS (software as a service) providers, such as Salesforce.com and Google, are leading the charge to incorporate elements of their web-based applications in other services in mash-ups. Google Maps, for instance, is being used by a number of real-estate sites to enable visitors to view the location of properties that they may be interested in purchasing. Yahoo!
