Finite team raises $12.5K for men’s health causes

A team from national recruitment firm Finite raised a record $12,500 in November for good causes through its biennial participation in this year’s Movember, an annual event involving the growing of moustaches to raise awareness of men's health issues.

Team Finite Group, comprising of 25 hirsute Bros  - and 1 Mo Sista! - representing seven out of Finite’s nine ANZ office locations, managed to raise the record amount.

Finite General Manager and team captain, Duncan Thomson said that despite all the usual “insults, itching and heaven forbid, a few grey hairs in the process”, the team remained resolute and kept on mo’ing!

“With the generous help of colleagues, family, friends and supporters, the team managed to break all previous records in terms of team participation and funds raised, with lots of laughs and fun along the way.

“It was a particularly strong team this year, with fantastic team participation, amazing Mo growing creativity and a dogged determination to excel on the fund raising front.

“This year’s donations will be going  to very worthwhile men charities doing great work in the fight to combat prostate & testicular cancer, male mental health and encouraging physical activity – all to stop men dying too young“.
